Project Details
This is a side project that I developed in conjunction with the help of a very talented artist, Julian Volyn. I actually had the idea for the comic strip while I was on a vacation in Cancun, Mexico, and began to sketch my ideas in a notebook. Several years later, I met Julian who was working for me as a summer intern, and the rest as they say is history.
Aside from developing the initial concept, I do 100% of the writing for the Bi-Polarbear web comic. Julian does the illustrations (and does an amazing job I must say). I do 100% of the HTML, Flash, JavaScript and CSS programming for the site. I was responsible for setting up the hosting environment, installed/configured the web site and configured the DNS. I also came up with the concepts for the various games on the web site, and did all of the coding for those.
The site utilizes Google Analytics so that we can track various advertising and media campaigns, as well as track site utilization from the various mobile device platforms.
