Overview
I led the creative direction and technical production of a high-impact internal pitch video designed to secure executive approval and financing for Meta Quest 3 hardware. This strategic asset was presented to senior leadership and finance departments to authorize a centralized fleet of headsets for use across multiple creative agencies.
Strategic Intent: From "Hardware Purchase" to "Market Leadership"
I conceptualized the video not as a simple procurement request, but as a vision for the agency's future in the Spatial Computing market.
- Excitement & Alignment: The narrative was engineered to move leadership from passive interest to active excitement regarding Augmented (AR), Virtual (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR).
- Revenue Logic: I framed the hardware acquisition as a prerequisite for driving customer value and long-term revenue, positioning the agency as an early leader in the immersive technology space.
Advanced Post-Production & Visual Effects
I served as the lead editor and motion graphics designer, utilizing the Adobe Creative Cloud suite to build a professional-grade cinematic experience.
- Editing & Assembly: Using Adobe Premiere, I integrated high-fidelity footage of the Meta Quest 3 hardware with curated b-roll and existing agency AR/VR portfolio examples.
- Motion Graphics & FX: I elevated the visual velocity of the pitch by utilizing Adobe After Effects for custom animations and sophisticated transitions, ensuring the video mirrored the "cutting-edge" nature of the hardware itself.
Acoustic Engineering & Pacing
Recognizing that the "persuasive energy" of a pitch is driven by its sonic profile, I performed granular audio manipulation to align the soundtrack with the visual "beats."
- Tempo & Length Optimization: I utilized Audacity to edit the music track, ensuring it met the exact duration of the presentation.
- Dynamic Splicing: I performed complex cuts and splices to the audio track, modifying the pacing and mood in real-time to match the shifting narrative of the video.
Result: Documented ROI and Stakeholder Approval
The video was a definitive success, receiving high praise from both internal leadership and external partners.
- The "Meta Approval": The final product was so effective that even the dedicated Meta Representative recognized it as a benchmark for internal hardware advocacy.
- Financing Secured: Most importantly, the video acted as the catalyst for immediate funding approval, allowing the agency to procure the necessary headsets and begin immediate development in the XR space.
Key Insight: Securing budget for emerging tech requires more than a spreadsheet; it requires a vision. By combining the technical precision of After Effects and Premiere with a clear business case for Mixed Reality, I transformed a capital expense into a strategic investment that energized the entire organization.
