Biogen Tysabri Infusion Centers Heat Map

Overview

I led the strategic design, development, and deployment of a specialized Infusion Center Heat Map for Tysabri. This mission-critical tool was engineered as a Veeva CLM Media presentation, designed to empower users to locate clinical assets across the United States and Puerto Rico within a high-stakes, pharmaceutical sales environment.

The Challenge: Engineering for "Zero-Connectivity" Environments

A primary technical hurdle of this project was the requirement for full offline functionality within the Veeva ecosystem. This constraint necessitated a departure from standard web development practices.

Functional Logic and User Interface

I designed the dashboard-like interface to provide a frictionless search experience, allowing users to identify locations through two primary data entry points:

Cross-Functional Leadership and Technical Accountability

This project required a high degree of collaboration across the Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management departments.

Strategic Outcome: Standardized Data Visibility

By building a transparent and documented geolocation tool that lived entirely on the device, I provided the client with a "future-proof" asset.

Key Insight: The Tysabri Heat Map represents the liberation of geographic data from proprietary online vendors. By redeveloping this logic into a self-contained, offline environment, I provided a level of stability and ownership that is essential for high-performance pharmaceutical field teams.
