AstraZeneca AMCP NEXUS Booth Kiosks
I implemented touchscreen kiosks that we built for AstraZeneca, which were used at different AMCP conferences. For one of the kiosks, the touchscreen displayed the drugs currently in AZ’s pipeline, the user is able to sort and filter the drugs based on drug type, status, etc. The user is then invited to participate in a survey and the survey results are saved in a database and exported to CSV via email. The biggest challenge was building the tool and porting the entire app to iPad format with a short turnaround. This required intense time commitments, thorough planning and organization, and teamwork to get the job done on-time.
For another conference, the kiosk was used to attract users into their trade show booth, and incorporated an innovative combination of neon sight & sound to captivate attendees as they walked past the exhibit. Via the touchscreen interface, the user is able to interacte and navigate through the presentation. We leveraged ananlytics to trach how users interacted with the touchscreen, to better understand what content resonated with the audience, and to guage the effectivness of this kiosk.
I managed the team that developed and deployed these interactive solutions. I worked closely with the client, vendors, Customer Service, Creative and Project Management teams to ensure a seemless design, development and deployment process. I researched, selected and managed the touchscreen vendors for these solutions. I was instrumental in the conceptualization, requirements and design phases, and was responsible for the numerous innovations employed within these kiosks, and played an active role in the QA and test process throughout the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). I provided on-site technical support for the client for the duration of these live events, and was instrumental in resolving on-site technical problems and logistical issues.
